Completing a successful Elite version upgrade requires careful planning and consideration for potential technical and procedural changes. The Technical Services Group has helped many firms develop a project plan for an upgrade, which includes mapping out the stages of the project, including a checklist of technical tasks. Some of the most common tasks include:
- Analyzing the scope of migrating the firm’s custom reports and custom applications to Enterprise.
- Cataloging the firm’s custom reports and applications.
- Reviewing the new system configuration and its potential impact on the firm’s custom bill formats and reports, etc.
- Providing technical assistance during critical periods of the firm’s upgrade, such as the week the firm goes live.
Report Analysis
The Technical Services Group performs a detailed analysis of clients' business processes to prepare a System Requirements Document. This document serves as the roadmap to configure Elite to meet management goals and to identify how best to convert legacy data.
Process Manager (WorkFlow)
The Technical Services Group’s knowledge of professional services organization’s business processes, along with experience working with various software packages, including Metastorm, provides a single point of contact and responsibility for the firm’s workflow requirements. They review the firm’s business rules and build custom forms that route information effortlessly via the firm’s email system, along with updating necessary applications with the appropriate data.
