Thomson Elite Names Bruce Wilson Vice President, Business Intelligence Solutions
LOS ANGELES, March 23, 2007 -Thomson Elite has promoted Bruce Wilson to vice president, Business Intelligence Solutions to lead the company's recently established Business Intelligence segment. Thomson Elite is part of The Thomson Corporation (NYSE: TOC; TSX: TOC) and a worldwide provider of business software to professional services firms.
In his new position, Wilson will be responsible for determining the strategic vision for the Business Intelligence (BI) product line and coordinating with senior management to establish short- and long-term objectives and operating plans. He has overall management accountability for strategy, product portfolio management, pricing, promotions, channel strategies and revenue. Wilson will leverage resources related to Sales, Marketing and Finance while directly managing Technology, Product Management and Client Services resources assigned to BI.
The decision to create Wilson's role grew from Thomson Elite's vision to support today's increasingly savvy professional services firms with the means to manage their organizations' performance and strategic planning.

Wilson plans to implement a number of initiatives that will include a stronger focus on BI content and the harmonization of domestic and international service resources.
"Although I have been delivering BI services for many years, I am excited about the opportunity to direct the product development and work closely with clients to understand and deliver the actionable information they need," Wilson noted.
The legal technology veteran brings to his new role nearly 30 years of experience in legal applications, programming languages, hardware and software design, systems environments and other areas vital to law office automation.
Wilson previously served as senior director, Technical Services, beginning in 2005 when Thomson Elite acquired Wilson Technology, the company he founded. The company provided business systems integration and BI solutions that complement Thomson Elite's product and service offerings. Thomson Elite and Wilson Technology worked together as strategic partners for 13 years, serving the same medium and large-sized law firm customers.
