Elite offers a fast, efficient method of accommodating client requests. Elite Image Processing uses state-of-the-art imaging technology to sort the database and allow online viewing of images. Clients can scan invoices during input and optionally have the images printed with bills – without requiring any additional steps. This provides substantial time savings for payables department staff and allows easy online reference to invoices if subsequent questions arise.
Advantages of the Invoice Image Processing System
Clarity
Magnify the scanned image to call out a portion of the invoice; move the image to a different position by rotating it left, right, up or down. Also, make the invoice more legible by changing the resolution and density of the image prior to scanning.
Convenience
Scan multiple pages per voucher with an automatic document feeder attached to a scanner. This is a true time-saver for vouchers that have more than one page to scan.
Flexibility
Print one or all pages of a scanned invoice. This allows the user to print a specific page or range of pages.
Bill Processing
The Imaging option is activated in the Professional Billing System when bill templates are defined. When Imaging is selected, bill processing takes place in the following sequence:
- The bill is processed.
- The scanned invoices for expenses that correspond to the bill are retrieved.
- The bill and the scanned invoices are sent to an output print file.
- After all bills are processed, bills and corresponding scanned invoices are sent to the printer.
This capability streamlines operations and provides a cost-effective alternative to the otherwise labor-intensive process.
